Student Union President Semih Ozyurt said the day was designed to cheer up the students and staff. “We want to create a happy vibe throughout the College on such a depressing day”, he said.

They put together the ‘Blue Monday Briagde’ who went around cheering up all the businesses that work in the Innovation Centre at the University of Kent.

They prepared a ‘Menu of Kindness’ from which the businesses could select and special treat, it contained a performance, lucky dips, cake and sweets. There are some great photos of all the people that used the kind service. Check out the People United website to see all the great things they do.
